After having my house flood at the end of July '17, my family was left without a vehicle. We were recommended this enterprise by our insurance company. Our insurance covered a rental vehicle for the duration of time without a vehicle. When I went to pick up my vehicle, I was given two options: #1. Rent the vehicle through my insurance at $40/ day OR #2. Rent the vehicle through enterprise at $20/day. Believing I'd be saving everyone some money, I chose option two. Here it is, 30 days later, and I'm just finding out (from my insurance company), that what ACTUALLY occurred was Enterprise is getting payment from my insurance company AND billing me for coverage through them. When I called them to notify them that I was not informed with accurate information, I was made to feel as though I CHOSE this!!! With all the loss we've endured over the last month, I could not believe the way he was talking to me about this situation. (Jared) We were not given the accurate information to make an informed decision. The way the information was presented was deceitful & misleading. They are getting their money from my insurance company, but also trying to make me feel like I willingly chose this when that wasn't the case. I've informed my insurance company of what happened & they will be handling this issue from here forward thankfully. But, BE AWARE!!! When life knocks you down, this enterprise will try to take advantage of your disarray & tear you down more instead of being upfront & honest with you.
As a regular Enterprise customer, I was happy to discover that I can rent out of this location, and that they will pick me up across the river in Elizabeth.
